The professional situation in Spain is constantly changing, which is undoubtedly having a direct impact on the training proposals offered by companies. More and more companies are offering their employees training content “from within” with the aim of revaluing companies through tailored training for their employees. Specifically, the one specialized in digital content to adapt companies to the technological revolution of this time, is the most demanded.
The so-called e-learning has grown each year to the point of representing 26% of the investment in training, according to a report by Randstad. But courses in Marketing, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Coaching, Cybersecurity, Community Manager, Neuromarketing, Legislation or languages are also common.
One of the advantages for companies when offering this type of training is that it is also discounted, regardless of whether the company is private or its number of workers. Specifically, as of January 1, 2019, 98,537 companies are already making use of their training credit for this year, according to data from the State Foundation for Employment Training (FUNDAE). These companies have a total of 516 million euros to invest in it.
“With the implementation of new technologies and ways of working, large companies increasingly opt for In-Company training, this is the only way to keep the company at the same level of competition as startups, generally run by young people with Extensive technological and digital knowledge. In fact, almost 100,000 companies are already offering training to their workers in 2019”, says Laura García, General Director of the Digital Innovation Center.
The ‘microlearning’ or the fever for continuous training in small doses
Microleaning, or training through short, highly specialized and immediately applicable training content, has been growing over the years to become the preferred training option for HR managers. And it is that, in addition to the obvious training improvements, that offers added advantages, as indicated by the Digital Innovation Center, the study center that offers the most avant-garde and up-to-date specialized training in digital disciplines on the market.
“More and more companies are demanding more specialized content, which allows their employees to train more independently. In addition, this type of training not only helps in the development of the workers’ careers and the improvement of work performance, but also favors the retention of talent and engagement”, declares García.
